In this information age, where we can literally drown in the volume, why is it that so many people don't know where to turn, when it comes to finding the right information?
I have answered the phone to so many individuals who are at their wits end. They are stressed out, have lost hope and feel that there is no help to be found. These individuals are seniors caught in a terrible situation, or a family member hoping to find some relief, begging for help. So with all of this information to be had, why do people not know where to turn?
From where I stand, it seems to be a matter of information overload. You "Google" a subject matter and you could be flooded with thousands of sites. Which one has the correct information? Which one is trust worthy? It takes so much time to research each site and the information that they hold, that it can cause paralysis and indecision.
What if you could find experts in one place? What if these experts were in your own backyard? What if you could pick up the phone and speak with them? How much easier would that be? That is what Focus on Seniors is aspiring to create through this site and in this blog.
With this blog series, we will be bringing in experts from all fields, that we feel will benefit our readers, in helping make informed decisions for themselves and for family members that they are caring for. The world of seniors is changing rapidly. We aspire to keep you current and informed, as we build your community of trust and support.
